I don't know why but I spent some time looking this all up from various sources and reading most of the actual documents. In the end I am sad to report my time wasted as there was truly little more to it than a butthurt lawyer filing frivolous lawsuits over satire and opinion. |

I had a legitimate reason to sue 5 years ago. Couldn't do it. I felt nothing good could come from it. One of the best decisions I've made. This country is way too sue happy. |

Only if he wins. Which he won't because his case is a solid as a puddle of diarhhoea. It was an attempt to coerce money from the Oatmeal and now he's committed to it. What else is he going to do? Say he was just making a threat to get money from the Oatmeal? Say he was misled by funnyjunk and didn't bother checking the facts because he doesn't care as long as he gets paid? |

LMAO me thinks funnyjunk is about to get counter sued into oblivion.
and rightfully so. I spent some time on that site asa member for for few months until I got tired of it. here is what that site boils down too:
1. black people are meant to be made fun of
2. never make fun of the admin who uses a pic of Kim Jong Il as his avatar.
3. populated by 12 year olds.
4. making fun of mentally challanged people is normal anf encouraged.
5. making fun of gay people and/or calling people "faggot" is also encouraged.
6. the site just plain sucks ass. |
