One out of every 143 Americans is currently in jail. I bet a lot of them have kids. This is goddamn sad. |

Parents sometimes go to jail, and sometimes they need help explaining it to their children. There are lots of reasons someone can go to jail...they aren't automatically some deadbeat loser. |

What Buiadh said. Parents going to jail is something that can actually happen to a kid and it can be really hard on them, in a similar way to divorce being hard on the kid. I'm glad there are things like this that can help them through their tough time. |
