Saturday, June 16, 2012 12:40:41 AM Watch the BBC documentary. She's released after a day and goes on to kill someone?? This story is very bizarre and unsettling. There has to be more going on - what were she and her sister doing. Also, the UK justice system is massively jacked up, she says *nothing* so therefore judge has to go off psychologist and his hands are tied sentencing her to 5 years? She should not be released from prison, she is batpoo crazy. |

Friday, June 15, 2012 8:21:01 PM I just watched the doc (thanks r66tramp!) and all I can think of is What. The. F*ck. This is a prime example of a system that does not work. It did not protect anyone, the twins or the public, in this case. And their diagnosis?! "A puff of madness" sounds like something dreamed up at Hogwart's, for Christ's sake. I smell a very fishy fish here. This case gave me goosebumps. |

Friday, June 15, 2012 1:09:46 PM @r66tramp, thank you for posting that! I remember watching it a couple months ago and was completely shocked at what really happened. |

Friday, June 15, 2012 11:38:31 AM They put dozens of motorists at risk when they ran back out into traffic. They should have been immobilized and handcuffed to start with. |

Friday, June 15, 2012 9:45:32 AM "Notice they didn't have to tase, beat, mace or shoot the woman 5o times, to gain control. THAT is good police work. Perhaps we should outsource our police academies to the U.K." That's your idea of gaining control? Really? Did you not notice how both, while under "control," ran back out onto the freeway for a second and even third time? I bet if they had been tased (sp) or maced they wouldn't have been able to run back out there. |

Friday, June 15, 2012 7:57:08 AM Good god. Take them into a padded room, and give them a gun. Less collateral damage that way, and we can get our air back. |

Friday, June 15, 2012 7:03:11 AM "This isn't drugs, this is a motherfu<king death wish." Sabina's defense attorney claimed it was folie a deux, a kind of shared insanity. There's a wikipedia page about the whole thing. Truly bizarre story. |

Friday, June 15, 2012 6:55:11 AM I feel somewhat for the cops, they'll forever be wondering if they could have prevented it - which obviously they couldn't, there's no way to predict that kind of thing. |
