The pointlessness of this extremely well-done tattoo (which, having many colors, probably took forever and a LOT of pain) just helps exaggerate the pointlessness of all tattoos.
It's like one of those stupid diamond-encrusted necklaces of cartoon characters some idiots wear. |

when a squirrel charged at me and ran up my pant leg I had no desire to immortalize him in ink, rather I wished to turn him into road kill ASAP and because I couldn't be sure it was him I hit every one I could hit for weeks |

About 20 years ago I was working in a shipyard. A friend and coworker was a rigger. Basically, insane. He'd be happy to drop is pants any time to show you his tattoos.
Amoung other things (such as devils shoveling coal into his ass), on one leg he had a squirrel running up. On the other he had a squirrel running down with a nut in its mouth. (Just so happen he lost a nut to a landmine in Nam....he'd be happy to show you that, too). |
