Jag is also a tonic (its original purpose, the alcohol preserved it) made from 16(or is it 15, not sure) different herbs. My 85 yr old Dad has had his daily Jag shot for as long as I can remember.

It's actually the vision of St. Eustace, the patron saint of hunters. Jagermeister being German for "master of the hunt" and all. Just some trivia there. |
