I had a friend who had a baby and then went mental on Facebook. If she didn't post an update about sodding little charlie at least once every 2 hrs (ROUND THE CLOCK FOR DAYS ON END!!!!) you'd start wondering if something was up. In the end it got so ridiculous that like Farmville I had to hide all posts from her.
"Charlie's just had a poo."
"Wow, Charlie's hungry again, 2hr 57 since the last time!"
"Projectile vomiting from Charlie, eurgh"
"Charlie's trying to eat anything in sight."
"Charlie grabbed the tail of the cat. He didn't like it."
"Charlie and me are off to the supermarket!"

I had to explain to someone that when you "vent" on Facebook, you are inviting other people to comment, you are making it public property.
Just like the garbage it is, when it's out at the curb, anyone can look through it. |

Honestly I have no reason to update my facebook except for changes in basic information about me. If I'm friend with some one they would already know what's going on in my life by actually talking to me sometimes. Otherwise they aren't my friend. |
