I have three dogs and they killed half of the freshly laid sod by peeing on it. You have to water the grass daily to prevent it. |

You gotta wonder why the dog chooses certain spots to pee. It always looks like such a difficult decision.
Male dogs pee on things sticking up out of the ground to mark their territory. Female dogs just squat wherever they happen to be when they get the urge.
BTW, this is caused by nitrogen burn from ammonia. |

dog pee grass kill... easily prevented.. [as taught to me by my mom] You must follow the dog every time it pees... place a sharp pointy stick in the lawn at the site of the pee... then run to fill a watering can with water from a rain barrel, pour that rain water all around the stick where the water will dilute the Ph. of the pee to prevent grass dying. Yer welcome |

how does the poster even know what a high urea count is? i had no idea one could have a high urea count.. is this knowledge that comes with an STD or soemthing? |

Doesn't look like pee stains to me. I know, because I see them every day. Idiot dog owners let their dogs urinate over everything in my downtown. Even in the elevators, which they walk away from without cleaning up. |
