Bill is one of the very few American comedians who have stayed funny after big success. Woody Allen, Eddie Murphy, Robin Williams, Steve Martin .... They all used to do great stand-up but they are now intolerable. (Chevvy Chase was just never funny.)
IMO the best US comedians around are the two who have re-located in the UK; Reginald D Hunter and Rich Hall. (If you don't know Rich Hall, seriously check him out.) |
