from what i am reading, the process of tissue formation that will later determine what the fingerprints are going to be happens late in the embryo-tic stage and on into the early fetal stage. |

i'm odd in that mine aren't all of the same type.
most of mine alternate between radial and ulnar loops, and one is a whorl. |

When I was in elementary school, a finger-print lady came and took our fingerprints and had us identify the type. Pretty sure I had one of the Loops above, but she yelled at me and said NO YOU HAVE ARCHES! Still pretty god damn sure i have a sort of loop. That lady was a bit*h. I want to find her and call her a bit*h. |

My left index finger is a radial loop.
My right ring finger is a central pocketed loop whorl.
And the other 8 digits are Ulnar loops. |
