Monday, June 11, 2012 5:24:22 AM RobSwindol - Because, they're known as high speed cameras - normal cameras capture I think between 30 to 60 frames per second, while these can number into the hundreds. Played at their native speed (i.e. a few hundred frames a second) they look normal. When slowed down to 30 frames, they appear really slow. So while the thing is slowed down, the camera used is a high speed one. :P |

Sunday, June 10, 2012 11:34:17 PM "as cool as this is, all of it can be done with cg for much cheaper, more quickly, and can even go beyond the constrains of physics." No. They always find a way to f*ck up the CG. This is inherently better. |

Sunday, June 10, 2012 4:56:26 PM For people who gets big bucks for their services they sure work in a shady studio. I love them because they show me things I had never immagined posible... but I hate them for working for big corporations. Those guys are the reason capitalism will keep on rolling for a few more years. |
