Even though I don't live the USA...(and you're in Canada where it's legal to marry) the more this is shoved down the Americans throats the better. Showing how silly it is to discriminate against people shouldn't ever be let up.
Yes, I-A-B has posted ALOT of Pro-gay material but those people are fighting for their rights. Let it be man. |

For some reason, (maybe my upbringing), I have always thought of 'marriage' as the coming together and wedding, of a man and a woman.
After leaving school, I was educated into the world of electricity and electronics.
In that electrical world, connectors 'marry' when they are male and female. They 'mate' when they are male and female.
My point is this:
'Marriage' is not a suitable word for the legal and civil registration of a happy loving relationship of two people of the same gender.
When I was a child, 'gay' was a word used to express happiness, joyous and elation. I have a few gay friends, and they are all far from that!
I would like to open a competition to the happy loving gay community to come up with a new word, for the lifetime civil and legal bond between two gay lovers. There is no prize, other than the knowledge that your name will be remembered for ever as the originator of that happy definition.
Please don't be cross with me, just think of |

I have to agree...sorta. I think homosexuals have as much right to be miserable as heterosexuals.
I personally wouldn't really care about getting married if I could file taxes and share health insurance with my life partner. Past that, it's a piece of paper, it doesn't mean I love her anymore than I already do. |

Demynted, thats a cop-out lil bitch-ass way to explain it. and its altogether untrue. its an immature way of explaining the reasoning behind it while at the same time insulting those "miserable people." they are against gay marriage because they think its wrong. simple as that really. |
