Sunday, June 10, 2012 7:27:55 AM I just love when people edit out the marks so that they don't have to credit the creator. d: This was made by a good friend of mine. You can visit his web-comic (it's full of genius stuff like this) at somethingofthatilk.com |

Saturday, June 09, 2012 8:34:18 PM "To me it's not about being gay or straight, It's the word marriage. I feel it should be between a man and a woman." Well then it is about being gay or straight to you. If it wasn't you wouldn't want to deny loving gay couples the same rights as you have. |

Saturday, June 09, 2012 11:09:12 AM You aren't getting what Drawman was saying. He is saying if everyone was gay, there could be no procreation. In that case, yes, we would all die out. |

I've read some pretty stupid comments on this site - made a few myself. But I think you win. You do realize that gay people, for the most part, come from straight couples don't you? |

Saturday, June 09, 2012 9:49:25 AM @drawman61 Are you serious? What does SOME people being gay have to do with the race dying off? Do you understand granting them equal rights does not equate your becoming gay? On top that, testing only your statement, you DO know that some gay people still choose to have children naturally, right? |

Saturday, June 09, 2012 8:28:27 AM @Stonardsftw You are some sort of idiot. You attack that guy with a hate filled message because you don't like his supposed hate filled message. You also assume he is a Christian. You think everyone who opposes gay marriage is religious? After he calls you out on it you reply with a message that is barely even readable without the reader wanting to vomit. You accuse him of wanting to control people too. There is a way to state you opinion and that wasn't it. Btw I think Marriage sounds way better than Civil Union. |

Saturday, June 09, 2012 4:44:31 AM Sorry lawndartsftw. but if a person speaks publicly in a way that could hurt a whole group of people they do become a bigot, and no they do not get to be the victim. |

Saturday, June 09, 2012 3:32:36 AM @lawndartsftw I didn't say anything about them being Married. I said you can KEEP your version of Marriage, but let Gays be recognized as spouses. As you said, blind. |

Saturday, June 09, 2012 12:39:01 AM I will do my best to educate myself on whatever the issue is, try my best to think it through, and, at the end of the day, make my own mind up on it, and that is where I will stand. I fully respect that others will come to different conclusions, and I respect those positions that are different than mine. They have as much of a right to their position as I have to mine. But if someone who has that different position on an issue, from me, tells me that unless I agree with them I am a hate-mongering bigot, well, guess what. You are the problem, and dont be surprised when I tell you where to put your intolerance... |

Saturday, June 09, 2012 12:24:10 AM @stonardsftw. So, if I believe that only a man/woman union can be defined as a "marriage", that makes me a Christian ?? Hahaha...right !!! What makes you think that only Christians may not agree with this change in the nature and definition of marriage. Like I said, blind....

Friday, June 08, 2012 11:58:37 PM @lawndartsftw Or you're just a disgusting and foolish religious non-nice individual who thinks your religion needs to be part of the government, so that you can use your belief system to control people. You can have your pooty Christian Marriage, but gays should be allowed to at least be RECOGNIZED as spouses in the eye of the government.

Friday, June 08, 2012 11:39:33 PM I've said it before, and I'll say it again. We need to change the term for a legal binding of two people from "marriage" to "legal binding" for everyone, and a "marriage" would be a purely religious thing. They're separate things now anyway. The Catholic Church doesn't recognize marriages not performed in their churches. Non-religious people can get married at a city hall. If they were separate things, then anyone could get "legally bound," and churches would be free to deny marriage to gay people if they wanted. |

Friday, June 08, 2012 9:53:07 PM that sounds like the life of a slut gerry, not a gay person, oh, i see where you were going there. @nickel2 a competition sounds good, but isnt there already a work? civil union? but that is so very clinical sounding "togethership ceromony" perhaps? |

Gay Lifestyle? What is that? I look for work, post at IAB, grocery shop, do laundry, take care of the house while my hubby is at work, and up until last month when he died I tried to keep my dad from eating cat food and take care of him. What is this "Gay" lifestyle? I'm not complainig, mostly things are good but I don't know anyone who lives in the ghetto of gay bars and bath houses that we're stereotyped in.... I wish! At least then I'd be having some fun. Not that sniping comments with you guys isn't great, but it's hard to parley that into a reason to live. I want to have all the fun, shallow, promiscuous sex I hear all gays have. I want to wake up on a strange futon next to a hot man who's name I don't know after having done things I'd be ashamed to report here. I could use some gayety in my life. |

Friday, June 08, 2012 9:12:11 PM So, if I dont argee that a same-sex union is a "marriage", I am a hate-mongering bigot ?? Put another way, if I think that a "marriage" is defined only as the union of a man and a woman, that makes me a hate-filled persecutor of gay people ?? Who are you to tell me what I should believe, and that if I dont agree, it makes me a bigot ?? The defenders of this issue are as intolerant as all those they accuse of intolerance, and they are too blind to see it.... |
