I feel bad for her. I have always wanted to go to Disney Land and if I was told off at the park for something as dumb as dressing up, I'd have cried too. What a let down. Boooo the rules!!

so I can go to Disney World dressed like a crack-head Mickey, and be ok, but getting a very similar (if not identical) Mickey costume is bad?

WTF man, WTF

also, I would like to see if they'd pull this stunt if I (or anyone else for that matter) dressed up like Christopher Robin and did the same, get them back for harassment or discrimination or some other B.S.

A good way for Disney to prevent confusion would be to give name tag to their employees. It's a little dumb that they prevent people from dressing up and be part of the party the way they desire... even if it looks really dumb from time to time.

She's *how* old? And she's crying on camera because "I just didn't want to take off the costume"?

Every grown-up is a little kid too. Not cool Disney. I wore my Marilyn Manson 2008 tour T-shirt with "Rape of the World" emblazoned across the back, and got nothing. Guess if I'd been dressed up like Jack Sparrow, it would have been the plank for me.

dear god. it is a private property. they can disallow entry if someone does not meet their standards if they want to.

if a person were to dress up like a paid employee, then go around swearing at children or doing any other kind of public disturbance, they would be held accountable for it. so they don't allow it.

Ollie basically complains about every idiot as if they were the fault of government-run schools.

What's the point of school if you come out of it a drooling idiot?

Really? A fat tinkerbell would be mistaken for the real one? Most kids know that pigs can't fly. Just another attention whore. Suck it up, you're 15 and it's not halloween.

Missed a word in my post, "these people aren't actors or employees (They are) paid to BE Mickey, Goofy ect.

Yeah, Disney is VERY strict about this, If the actors even get caught by kids out of costume IE: Mickey without his head on or Aladin out for a smoke break, they typically get fired, it's not a "Disney is a bad company" thing, these people aren't actors or employees paid to BE Mickey, Goofy ect..So no The average joe adult is not allowed to portary any disney character because it ruins the illusion for the kids, The lady should have though about this from the get go, Also ATPn34 is correct, you have to buy a ticket before entering and doing so gives the Park the legal freedom to revoke the ticket and remove you from the park at any time..Disney is in the win on this, she should have thought things through a little more.
