In what way is this stupid? Obama and his professional campaign people thought this important enough to lie about. Your President is a close political confidante of a political terrorist. That is an important fact. He lied about it. That is also important, being that your President lies about his own politics. Lying, and hiding political opinions are kind of a big deal in a President. |

@Cajun247 I don't think 5cats is concerned too much with the fact that Obama is connected with him, but rather that Obama lied to the public about it. I still have doubts about the validity of these claims though. |

In shot the story says that a guy participated in the creation of some nailbomb that went off 50 years ago killing a few people and Obama ate a few weiners at that guys barbecue so that means Obama is evil.

Ayers is a convicted TERRORIST
Bill Ayers is and was not behind bars because the FBI chose to collect evidence against him illegaly. As for the terrorist lets review the facts:
-The Weather Underground did not take hostages
-The Weather Underground timed their attacks to deliberately avoid civilian casualties
-To date the Weather Underground is responsible for 3 deaths and 2 injuries. All of which were members of the Weather Underground.
-This is not an endorsement of the Weather Underground, whose activities were a potentially serious hazard to public safety nonetheless. |

Obama was still connected to a guy he claimed he "hardly knew" and after he stated he he "didn't see him" anymore. It's called a "lie" by non-politicians.
Considering Obama did not support any of Bill Ayers actions during his Weather Underground campaign, this "lie" does not bother me as much lies used for the wars in Iraq and Libya, and the ones being pushed to start wars with Iran and Syria. |
