Am I the only one who thinks next gen was better than the original? Not just a little, but way better.

Peter [to William Shatner]: Yes, I have a question for Captain Kirk...in that episode where you drown your wife; Why are you so fat?

@Cobrakiller the 'greatest thing ever' is subjective I suppose! To me, yes it definitely is the greatest thing ever*..

*Deep Space Nine and Enterprise notwithstanding

You, on the far right, you have no business being there, your show doesn't count.

Janeway got fat and Sisko looks like he has AIDS or something. Picard still looks exactly the same as he did in the 80s, heh.

My initial reaction: Scott Bakula. Not because of the Star Trek thing, but because I've always thought he was a bit sexy.

Gerry, I understand why it became so important, but that doesnt mean it was ever a "great" show. All I am asking is for people to be honest. You can love a terrible show for all the right reasons and I wont hate you for it. All I ask is for people to admit that the show [standing alone from everything else] wasnt the greatest thing ever.

Also, not a giant fan of star wars either. Like a couple of the movies and some of the video games, but not a big [whatever the equivalent of a trekkie is]. I cant say I hate all things star trek either though. Personally, I enjoyed JJ's new movie, and didnt hate the one with Picard and the cyborgs.

Arcval, by that measure (captained a Federation star ship for an episode or more), there are literally scores of captains.

There's actually 6 captains. They missed captain Pike off the line up.

Old or new Kirk?
In a fight, old Kirk is gonna beat new Kirk.
New Kirk would be drawing back for a punch when old Kirk eats him.

Even with the aura of Westley always near, almost like a tattoo of pure pootiness right smack on his forehead, Picard all the way. Always and forever, Picard! And yes, Gerry, I got patchgrabber's "There are FOUR Captains!!!" allusion.

and Sisco is hardly a captain.. commander of a space station ya..

With the rank of Captain and command of a ship (the Defiant). So yes, he's a captain.

He'd also be my choice from the five for sex.

Star Trek - Boldly going where no one's gone before.
Star Trek TNG - Boldly going where someone's been before.
Star Trek DS9 - Boldly staying still
Star Trek Voyager - Boldly going home
Star Trek Enterprise - Boldly going somewhere before Kirk goes there. (sorta like trying to beat Germans to the best sun loungers in the morning).

Pearls before swine, Gerry.

Haters gonna hate.

Oh, and Shatner FTW. No he hasn't aged well, but who does? Let him age. Leave the looking 20 at 70 poo to shallow celebutards who are that vain.
