Here's a tid bit they always leave out, our data is from what, that last 70 years or so. How can you make any judgement from that. For all we know it's just how it always has been and will be, regardless of what we do.

Also Newt and Rush are idiots in my book.

@Cajun: Kudos and much respect. You conceded a point with grace, which one seldom sees on here.

@Cajun - that's a debate for ethics. If you don't like what government might do with the science, then you can't dismiss the actual science.

It's like dismissing laws of physics because you don't like governments using guns to kill people, or dismissing gravity because you don't like governments using it to hang people.

Rush goes beyond this idea, and dismisses the actual science without even looking into it or researching it.

However, Rush has a bad track record of talking about any science he doesn't like whether it's evolution or climate change.

Not that I'm a fan, but what he's worried about is that this science is going to be used to call for more government power which in turn will erode individual liberties. My concern is that and government power will actually make the problem WORSE.

Seriously, where do the new trolls keep coming from? They keep plugging the channels when people here feed them and I can't find all the funny stuff.

DromEd - it seems that you were the one bringing up the fact that he's overweight and had pain killers problems.

There were several people who pointed out with facts that Limbaugh called scientists godless.

So a typical leftist response is to use facts and evidence? Well sign me up.

@DromEd

By the way, science MUST be agnostic. You cannot invoke god in science because it explains everything and explains nothing. Plenty of religious scientists understand this and do not say "a miracle occurs" in their research.

Only someone who is scientifically illiterate would EVER say that it is bad to leave god out of science.

DromEd, I have listened to him before and I'm a liberal. I'm not afraid of what the extreme of any side has to say.

However, Rush has a bad track record of talking about any science he doesn't like whether it's evolution or climate change. He doesn't know anything about those facets of science and refuses to study them. So, he's said things time and time again that were scientifically illiterate and just wrong. I know Rush has gone at length about 'climategate' (which was a non-event), and even said volcanoes spit out more CO2 than humans do, which is also a lie.

About climate change, I don't mind if people have opposing points of view, but those that deny humans have any role in climate change typically never study the actual science, or would know when they were wrong about anything. You can't be scientifically literate and be intellectually dishonest.

If you have scientific evidence against man changing climate, then posting here won't help. Get it publis

@DromEd: I listened to Rush Limbaugh for a solid year in the mid-90s, so that's got to be--what?--about 500 hours, give or take?

If you think the phrase "Godless scientists" is somehow a mischaracterization of Limbaugh's views on climate scientists, maybe you're the one who hasn't been listening. From his Feb. 2, 2007 show:

The global warming crowd, the environmentalists, are pure unadulterated leftists, an assortment of Communists and Socialists who are also godless in the traditional sense. Like Chesterton said, "If you don't believe in God, you'll believe anything." You'll make your own God, and that's what they've done. There's no science in it, folks: zilch, zero, nada.

DromEd: "Then call him a bigot which he clearly is not."

Let's do some fact checking and find some of Rush's top racist quotes

I asked a simple question. I get a typical leftists response. Attack a man because he's over weight. Attack a man who had serious back issues and got temporarily addicted to pain killers like oh I dunno millions of other people. Then call him a bigot which he clearly is not. Swoop fails in epic fashion.

I may have missed it but I'd wager a good deal of money that Rush Limbaugh has never uttered the phrase "Godless Scientist." Be honest Squrlz, how many hours have you actually spent listening to Rush? Actually that question goes for any of you leftists.
