We get, better than anyone else in fact, just how much we are a nation with some adjustments to make, and they will be made. Until then, I'll only worry when we've reached parity with China's abysmal standards. |

First, go here:

Then scroll about 1/3 of the way down to Breakdown by state. You will find some variables that correlate much more closely to IQ than does religiosity. It also explains many of the outliers in your chart.
Also, if IQ is inversely proportional to religiousness, how can you explain that the two most brilliant people who ever lived -- Sir Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein -- were both believers? |

That's actually wrong. If you add up all the secular/athiests i n every country it is a tad more than 50% of the population. They just all seem to be concentrated in a few places. |
