until they turn thirty seven and then you can write,

You can find all sorts of love poems on the internet, pick and choose the appropriate parts, and make your own just as easily.
Just be careful doing that too often, she might really believe you are a poet and want you to tell her poem(s) for her on-the-spot, if you aren't ready for that challenge you'll be screwed. |

I have been doing that for years. I don't copy it exactly though, I take bits and pieces of what I like and add my own flare to it. |

I thought, obviously incorrectly, that the "real men of genius" theme presented by some beer company was supposed to highlight some slightly questionable contribution to humanity but over-glorify it to the point of theater of the absurd. This just smells like failed dreams and lost direction. |

@notorious - No, I'm just saying that at some point she will ask for more. Unless he can sneak back to the store or get online, he's drated. If she sits there with him and says, "It's ok, take your time and think of something like you wrote in that card." he doesn't stand a chance. It will happen, I guarantee it. I'm not saying women don't deserve it, but once you do it they'll want more and if you can't deliver you might as well jump off of a cliff. |
