A bit over ten years ago, I put this in the EULA of data acquisition package I delivered:
"Look, just don’t f*ck around. This version is for [X-odd company] only. I AM watching you. By the way, quit looking at so much porn."

The company president called, laughing and out of breath, telling me to leave it in. The icon and splash screen contained pentagrams. The six years I dealt with them, only one chick ever noticed. I did similar things to their login MOTD, also. |

What annoys me is they take your money first and then ask if you agree to the terms. I think that would negate whatever contractual agreement they came up with.
Apples the worst. You buy an outrageously priced device and every time there's an update you can't use it unless you agree to the new terms. I'm no lawyer but I'm pretty sure those agreements wouldn't hold water in a court of law. |

EULA's should be laymens terms:
1: don't copy this and give it to anyone.
2: don't give out your password.
3: don't blame us if this destroys your life in any way.
