Worth an hour for anyone wth dogs. I'm still stunned that they managed to get from a pretty much wild fox to a more or less domesticated animal in three generations. |

@CynicalGamer-- They later explained that dogs were a huge boost for our hunter/gatherer societies, and that they made us vastly more efficient in killing game. This boost allowed us the breathing room to advance our civilization in terms of farming technology, and eventually helped produce a sedentary lifestyle. |

Ok, they lost me at "without dog domestication, civilization just would not have been possible."

Saw this on Netflix last night and decided to post it here. I thought it was fascinating that dogs have learned to read human faces and emotions, and to respond to our gestures. |

It is a bit long for the short attention span theater that is IAB, but i agree with sweetrebelnc, its a great watch for dog people. |

I watched this documentary on netflix. It was absolutely fascinating. It's interesting to see where our pets come from and how they affect us. I would recomend this documentary to any dog lover. |
