Not very practical. You add enough food to boiling water and it stops boiling, food sinks to bottom and sticks.

Not very practical. You add enough food to boiling water and it stops boiling, food sinks to bottom and sticks. Sauces you bring to boil will stick to bottom. A spoon is needed to clear cooking food from bottom of pan. Seems only any use for boiling a few colored M&Ms. |

Very obviously, what is happening is the hot water rises, the grooves on the edge of the pot makes the water begin to spin, and then the cold water near the center sinks... |
