Friday, June 01, 2012 2:13:19 AM "Hiccup cures" are great examples of the ridiculous things that humans will believe based solely on coincidence. |

Thursday, May 31, 2012 4:41:04 PM hiccups are a spasm in your diaphragm not your mouth or throat the basis of her "invention" is flawed the only thing any of these "cures" do is waste time while the spasm dissipates on its own |

Thursday, May 31, 2012 11:29:54 AM Yeah, you can do all of that. Or just stop being a tight arsed git and buy a cheap lolly to cure it. |

Wednesday, May 30, 2012 10:26:41 PM sucking on something sugary in general helps, i had the hiccups while working on a project in a library, the librarian gave me one of the tiny tootsie rolls and told me if I sucked on it instead of just eating it they would go away...and they did. ...Also placing a paper towel over a glass of water and drinking through the towel helps too. |

Wednesday, May 30, 2012 10:17:07 PM why would I pay for something when it's easy enough to get rid of them for free? Hold deep breath 10 seconds, inhale, hold 5, inhale, hold 5. It works... My nana will stand behind you and grab just above the earlobes gently and that works too, oddly. |

Wednesday, May 30, 2012 9:03:43 PM Just take a moderately deep breath and hold it by closing your throat, then relax your diaphragm. |

Wednesday, May 30, 2012 6:16:17 PM Really? I just hold my breath as deep as I can for a while and then my hiccups are gone. |

Wednesday, May 30, 2012 5:54:31 PM That's great that she figured that out, but I don't realistically see a market for this. Why go out of your way to buy a product to get rid of your hiccups, when it's so easy to do it yourself for free within seconds? |

Wednesday, May 30, 2012 4:30:45 PM Lol, xiquiripat. I agree. I can't even belch/burp, but usually when I feel it coming on a bit, I can make something happen. When I have the hiccups, I just hold my breath until I feel the air wants to be released, then squeeze until I burp a little. |

Wednesday, May 30, 2012 3:07:37 PM When you feel a hiccup coming on force air down your throat and you'll burp instead. 2-3 times and its gone. Easy and you don't have to pay some 13 year old twerp. |

Wednesday, May 30, 2012 12:53:19 PM So you expect me to buy these and carry them everywhere just in case? I guess if you really hate them, but I'll stick with water, it's easier to get a hold of when I need it. Also, is really a cure if it's something that happens randomly and will return. |
