There have probably been many instances where people who are completely unrelated have turned out to have very similar lives just like these two. I blame coincidence. |

Always good with skepticism. However, I think identical twins share a bond no ordinary human can understand. Otherwise ze Germans wouldn't have put so much interest in them. Since I am a man of science and not spiritualism I believe it must be in the genes. |

I'm sure if you took any two strangers of the same race/gender you will find they have a dozen or so things in common. Whether it's a favorite color, food, or name of their child.

I believe these similarities go beyond genetics. Because I can't see how any gene would influence who's names they'd prefer for their wives or sons. |

Genetics caused them to have the same 1st name! Well, no, I guess not. But they both named their sons after themselves, just using the more formal form of the name. That's not particularly unusual, though. Really, this is a combination of genetic tendency and amazing coincidence. And it is really amazing. Unless, of course, it's partly made up to make it more fun. |

Justin, the name of their sons could be genetics in a sense. Similar mind, similar likes. They both happened to find the same name attractive so they both gave it to their son. |

patchgrabber, although the names of their wives seems weirdly coincidental (how many ppl marry someone for their name?), I don't see how the bench around the tree is all that coincidental. The both built the bench around the tree, and idk anyone else personally who has done that, so maybe the idea came to both of them because they're identical o.o; |

Genetics - now a predisposition to choosing a wife by her name, and choosing your sons name. No longer coincidence.
