Tuesday, May 29, 2012 3:09:50 PM 1924 marked the end of the United States occupation of the Dominican Republic, and the significance of that date as it pertained to those living in the Vietnam era as we occupied Vietnam. Can't tell if you are being serious or sarcastic. Surely the year must mean something. If not this, then what does it mean? Is 1924 the end of WW1 or something? Is he saying the vietnam war occurred as many years after "the war to end all wars" as we are now from the vietnam war, i.e. we may get into another quagmire war, we are forgetful, etc? That's what I would have thought, except WWI ended November 11, 1918 (hence, Veterans Day) |

Tuesday, May 29, 2012 12:18:26 PM NDT does basic arithmetic - how amazingly profound. Next he'll be tying his own shoelaces. If that's a real quote rather than a parody, he's quickly becoming a caricature of himself. |

Tuesday, May 29, 2012 12:14:34 PM Yeah I'm sure. They are like the Star Wars prequels. No amount of fancy electronics will replace the originals. |

Tuesday, May 29, 2012 11:43:46 AM Here's a fun fact: Christopher Columbus' voyage to the Americas in 1492 is as far in the past now as the year 972 AD was to it. The similarity between this fact and NdGT's? No one cares.

Tuesday, May 29, 2012 11:35:03 AM Because the war in Afghanistan is so similar to Vietnam. Actually, they have no parallels whatsoever. |
