*blinks* generally if you have to brag about how much people give you and how beautiful you are, then you're not all that pretty and probably lying about all of your 'admirers' while wearing a fancy bra off the walmart rack. (I personally prefer family dollar, but I'm only a 1 on the scale of 1-10, you're at LEAST a..four, maybe five..:)) |

The arguments on here were far more entertaining than the actual stupid photo. It's sad, being so caught up in one's own possessions that they define who that person is. As long as it fits and feels good to you, who cares? I have more important things to do than spend my hard earned money on name brands. If someone is looking that closely they deserve to be slapped anyhow >> |

Can't tell if leesah is a troll, secretly getting off on all the attention, or if she's just a materialistic bimbo who has never earned a single thing she owns, will end up a trophy wife, get dumped after she loses her looks, and will die alone in a hotel room after od'ing on coke and method.
Either way she's obviously an idiot. People with IQs that don't even break triple digits aren't worth my time, nor anyone else's on here.

leesah, those arn't facts or research that's you regurgitating what you have been told, it's been a whille since i've been in the states, but clothing sold in dep. stores over here, quite often get a better quality rating from the consumer watchdog.
as for using real sizes? hah so explain to me why the women in my life where a size 2 for one brand and a size for the next? so they fit better? |

...yeah, go look at the materials they clothing is made of and how it's put together. Department store clothing is mass produced by a general size (S, M, L, etc) while brands go by actual measurements (2, 4, 6, etc) so they fit your body better. Department store clothing has a LOT of cheap polyester and cotton filler, brands use pure materials like wool and cashmere. Of course advertising costs is part of it but cheap clothing is cheap because it's cheap.
Air Jordan is a part of Nike, it's the same brand, so in that case you ARE specifically paying for celebrity sponsored sportswear. But that's why sports companies do it, and why department stores get celebrities. You're more likely to find a fashion company featuring a model, not an actress or singer. |

Oh and leesah, as a man i understand a lot about bras, as i am the one who takes those things of and admires whats underneath, the thing that matters to me most is: comfort (so i dun't have to rub the blood back into the strap trenches)
durability/ strenght so i can rip em of with me teeth! yaaarrrr. and the kind of clasp as some of those things slow me down to 10 seconds. which bring me to the final point, do you really think a guy gives a toss about your bra? show me your tits! |

@leesah, so your paying for quality? got some kind of facts or research to back that up? as far as i understand the extra cost is to pay the advertising campaign which tells me that i look cool/good/sexy/ if i buy said brand becuase everybody else has seen that add. do you really think nike air jordan were any beter then regular nikes just becuase micheal jordan got paid 30 cents per sale? (which btw was round and about what the people working in the sweatshops got for a 14 hour day in "not such pleasant" conditions. |

You're paying for the quality. I don't expect males to understand the importance of a bra, but here's a little visual to help you out.
Standard department store bra:
Can you imagine what my pictures would look like if I wore that instead of my glorious, beautiful, amazing VS bras? & because my bras are so glorious, amazing, and beautiful I don't have to feel ashamed by the logo, which is often worked into a pleasing design (or subtly at the top of a waistband). I can understand not wanting people to know your clothes are from walmart, though. |

@MrOrange: I agree. If I go to buy a hoodie, t-shirt, etc. I always stay away from the ones that have a mural of their company logo or whatnot. Just because you designed a piece of clothing doesn't mean it has to be plastered all over. It's like an artist making a painting and putting his name in big letters right in the middle. It's unnecessary. |
