I don't know much about Silent Hill, apart from that it's a horror game. It would be very understandable if radios where to be a motive. Also, the sound wave from the speakers aren't really sound waves, but are altitude lines, resembling a hill.
There, I figured them all out with some base knowledge of video games and only having played two of them. Don't bash a post if you don't instantly get it people. |

I get the top three. In the frameworks of the guy, three triangles are whited out, making a triforce, the symbol of The Legend of Zelda.
Grand Theft Auto IV is about the pursuit of the American Dream. The stars resemble the police system. The more stars are colored, the more police will chase you.
If you don't get the crowbar in Half Life, you must never even heard of the game, as the crowbar is the standard melee weapon, which kind of became a meme.
I've never played Goldeneye, but I do know that in James Bond games, it was always all about the handguns, not bigass assault rifles and stuff. I'm also guessing that the Skorpion had terrible range, as it shows the bullet just falling out of the barrel.
When you're spotted in MGS4, which is partially a stealth game, a large exclamation mark will appear above the head of the guard, accompanied by a noise, to tell you you've been spotted. Also, the main character smokes.
