MacGuffin, using BMI is like using the imperial measuring system: it's archaic, needs to change, and is an inferior system to better methods.

I do agree with you somewhat because the majority of fat people are lazy and greedy but there is also medical conditions, medications, genes that tend to make people fat. This girl was sad that her father died and that's what got her to binge eat. Her depression is what started it. I have to say though, she should be put down if her and whoever is giving her food doesn't do anything about this. |

So, BMI 25.7 - that's OK, makes you merely marginally "overweight", but not obese. ;)

It is tragic for her. She's done all sorts to lose weight with fat camps in the US and a thousand diets.
There's absolutely no drating way to get to 400 kg while making any kind of effort to loose weight.
You want to weigh 400kg ? Fine, but don't think anyone should feel sorry for you. |
