A kid did this at my graduation. It lasted maybe half a second, but while walking off the stage it happened. However, the whole thing was so unorganized, loud and obnoxious I can't hold my graduation as an example for anyone else. |

I'm guessing some sad non-nice individual at the school was like 'We aren't going to stand for people doing inappropriate things while graduating! If anyone does we'll make an example of them to show others that we mean business!'
Then no one actually did anything inappropriate, so said non-nice individual was forced to settle for some guy who made a completely inane, inoffensive, lighthearted gesture. Plenty of ppl do things at grad ceremonies, and it never results in riots or orgies or whatever they seem to suggest it will.
What a bunch of dicks, including the kid's mother...well, it's a catholic school so I guess that's standard fair. They'll go on pretending they're the most pious motherf-ers on earth right up until someone gets caught doing something awful or some new scandal is unearthed. They sure seem awfully scummy, un-righteous, and intolerant for supposedly religious schools... |

Good. I think he deserved that. They should have fined him and put him in jail, too. The nerve of kids today, dropping to a knee before accepting a diploma! He put every person in that auditorium's life in danger that day. |
