There should be a question mark after "Why" but I guess since they aren't in the business of impressing anyone, then I guess it doesn't matter lol. |

The teacher would probably give bonus points for just about anything, and I definitely never hated any professor/teacher who gives out bonus points for w/e. Especially since that's usually an indication that they're the kind of teacher who has a class that's both not terribly difficult, and is at least somewhat interesting. |

It's a section for extra credit if the student is creative or otherwise impresses him. This kid takes it to the literal and wants to know why he should be obligated to impress someone for no other reason than to impress him. Teacher sees it as a healthy response and makes a joke while giving him some EC. I fail to see why he's a scumbag. Assuming I'm accurate in my guess I'd say he's one of the rare teachers who gives a poo what his students have in their domes when they enter the world. |

one of my old teachers said when she was in college, her final assignment for one of her classes was to answer the question "why?" she wrote a big essay and whatnot and got a mediocre grade. the only people that got 100% on it were those that just answered "why not?" |
