Well semisweet, if, in fact, a lad's only motivation is superficial, then I agree. But if his only motivation is her looks, then perhaps said lad should try the other countless number of attractive women in the world. If instead it is that he both finds her attractive and likes the fact that they get along well and thinks they would work well together and is hoping for more than just a few bjs(or at least thinks he is. Sometimes ppl, especially said delusional young males, don't even know what they want) I'm sure it doesn't seem quite so cut and dry as 'I find her hot, she doesn't like how I look, looks like I struck out on this one'.
Oh, and swaywithme's pic thinger is confusing to what we're calling bullpoo. I don't think it's saying that 'friendzoning' sucks, so I'm guessing it must be saying it doesn't exist or doesn't make sense, except clearly it does and the caption itself is describing why it occurs. It's silly, yo. |

im not saying it's the case here, but why are guys (i think mostly very young guys) surprised when they like a girl for superficial reasons and the girl likes someone else for superficial reasons? |

As much as it pains me to say as i love JGL, it's pretty well documented that he is gay and that they are just really good friends. i happen to think it's quite lovely that they have such a great friendship. i also happen to love her and her characters so screw all you haters. |

Maybe he's not trying to date her? Platonic friendships exist, and are not classifiable as the "friend zone." Anyway, she's annoying. Every character she portrays is the exact same nine-year-old girl. |
