Pretty easy, one face doesn't go above the cut line, another doesn't go above it. The bowler hat goes on top the face on the far right and the face w/o a hat gets the collar from the far left. |

Before the swap you have 2 faces each using its own side of the horizontal line. After, you have 5 faces using both sides.
It is not hard to understand where the extra face went. |

Cute, but pretty simple. If you look, there is one face on the bottom and one on the top that are 'complete' without any matching piece on the other card. In the first alignment, those 'complete' faces are unmatched (so you have 6 faces), in the second they are matched (so you have 5). |

Not that impressive. There are both a face and a rectangle that can stand alone without a counterpart from the other top or bottom slip. |

Simple, the guy in the middle with short hair and moustache has no body on the bottom at first, when moved he does and that combines the 2 into 1. |
