haha I was camping last year during the 'Rapture' We were all waiting for 6 pm to roll around but only one girl had a watch with her. All of us were too drunk to notice that it had died at 5 pm so it was always perpetually an hour to rapture time. <3 |

They had a very real psychological motivation to believe him. Throughout history, denial of death has led the weak and cowardly to invent and re-invent the same scenario: one in which they're the only ones who will live forever and it is *everyone else* who is in denial about their coming destruction. This sort of thing will continue to happen until education finally eradicates religion. |
