Catholic Schools, this wouldn't happen. There's a reason why mom and dad pay big bucks, because they enforce discipline whether you like it or not. This is probably some random ghetto school, poor teacher. |

Parents have basically sued schools to the point where they cannot do anything to the students anymore in the form of punishment.
my GF is a middle school teacher and she cannot do a thing to the students and the parents never take her side in anything...all the do is yell at her whenever their kid gets a bad grade or their kid isn't the best at whatever they are doing.
sad really, growing up a teacher could whoop your ass...now, they cannot even tell you to write on the board...no really they can't. |

@PinkHomicide. liked your story. i spent 12 years in catholic school and if you screwed up the nuns showed you NO MERCY. then they'd write a note to your parents who also showed NO MERCY, because after all, you had pissed off a nun, of all things! |

I got along with one of my high school science teachers in and out of school, he told me when he first started teaching a kid had said "F*ck you" to him and he hit the kid in the face(back when hitting kids was legal) He said the parents came the next day, made the kid apologize and they brought him a bottle of booze too! |
