Friday, May 18, 2012 9:32:39 PM All you can eat is all you can eat. Cutting him off is false advertisement. On the other hand, every business reserves the right to refuse service to anyone (before they actually START doing business with him). They're perfectly within their right to not do business with a man whose going to eat them out of business or refuse product/service to someone with an unpaid tab. They chose to stop serving him mid-meal instead. The restaurant held all the cards, and played them completely wrong. |

Friday, May 18, 2012 1:44:27 PM "All you can eat" means all you care to eat, not "all we care to serve you". Yes, he's fat. No, he shouldn't eat that much. None of that matters. If you offer AYCE, you'd better damn well be ready to back it up! |

Thursday, May 17, 2012 6:31:43 PM The Simpsons episode 67 (New Kid on the block) "Homer orders the all-you-can-eat and literally eats everything, continuing to eat well past closing time and completely taking unfair advantage of the offer. Captain McAllister finally kicks a struggling Homer out after midnight" |

Thursday, May 17, 2012 1:16:20 PM Also, addendum: Relying on self-regulation hasn't worked since the 1920's, and we ALL know how THAT ended. |

Thursday, May 17, 2012 1:10:23 PM Yes, that's sane lets have the governmet dictate all aspects of our lives they run things so well. Yes, that's totally what I mean, because the government was involved in this in the least. I called him a fat consumer pig because a BUSINESS threw him out for being a fatass and he was trying to act like they were in the wrong. I don't see how the government was involved in his being a fat consumer pig. Or the business throwing him out. But if straw men are all you have, then have a nice day. |

Thursday, May 17, 2012 1:07:05 PM Private businesses have "The right to refuse service" and fatass has the right to picket. Leave the government out of it, stop spending everyone else's money on your stupid s***. |

Thursday, May 17, 2012 12:51:15 PM While it's insane he can eat that much, this is the risk all-you-can-eat restaurants take. Otherwise, they need to specifically say what the limit is. If they DIDN'T specify a limit, then that's false advertising. If Sketcher's can get sued for the whole Shape-Ups fiasco, then this buffet can get sued for this. |

Thursday, May 17, 2012 12:37:28 PM "I read about a rstaurant in England (I think Indian) which had an AYCE buffet, go back as often as you want, pile your plate as high as you want, but with the condition that if you had any food left on your plate you agreed to a £5 donation to Oxfam." Yeah this is becoming more popular... I saw this quite frequently in Asia actually! |

Thursday, May 17, 2012 12:34:04 PM If you think limiting what people can do would solve anything your a blind, deaf and mute dumbass. If you think waiting for "fat and happy" f*ckers like this to volunteer to quit eating businesses out of business, driving up health care costs, and bitching that they're being discriminated against for being disgusting by choice, then you're a lost cause. Relying on people to self-regulate is clearly failing to keep anything in check. |

Thursday, May 17, 2012 12:19:55 PM @Altaru If you think limiting what people can do would solve anything your a blind, deaf and mute dumbass. Sounds like in your perfect world we'd live in bubble and the government would dictate every aspect of our lives from what to eat to when we s**t. |

Thursday, May 17, 2012 12:02:01 PM Yes those capitalist pigs VIVA LA REVOULTION!! We shall take over and dictate everyones diet for the people what could go wrong!! Funny, I can't stand Che Guevara. He was just as greedy as the people he claimed to be fighting, a homocidal manic and a coward. But if you don't see a need for limits with people like this running around, you're a blind dumbass. Not that you haven't always been. |
