Thursday, May 17, 2012 1:39:01 PM Not only did he support them by buying the coffee, but more substantially he has given them free advertising. I, for one, did not know Starbucks had taken this stance and even though I'm still not going to go buy their overpriced fru fru coffee it's getting people talking about their name. And for their demographic I'd say a lot of people that support gay marriage, too. |

Thursday, May 17, 2012 12:56:58 AM I had a moment of perspective about 6 or 7 years ago. The woman who brought the newspapers to the store I opened at the time was a lesbian. Older lady, really nice, drove me to work a few times when things went south on me. She'd been with her partner for 25 years. By the time I knew her, said partner was recovering, but for a couple years before that she had been fighting cancer. And during all that time, she was allowed to visit her in a hospital 1 time because only family members have that right. She and gotten married before the sun rose if the whim had struck us to do so, without having to explain ourselves in the slightest. But her love of a quarter century? Nope! Get out of our hospital! |

Wednesday, May 16, 2012 9:42:42 PM Parentally arranged marriages, shotgun marriages, Vegas Elvis-impersonator marriages, marriages of convenience, he's-60-and-she's-18 marriages, impulsive knew-each-other-three-days marriages - they're all holy in the sight of God. Two best friends in love, good people who happen to be the same gender? Spawn of Satan! Blasphemy! Unholy monsters! I think some "men of God" are just trying to make it look like they have something important to do. |

Wednesday, May 16, 2012 7:42:12 PM People like this amaze me. They buy something, destroy it, to oppose it. Yea...So to protest the new Michael Bay movie, I am gonna buy 10 tickets and then NOT see it. *rolls eyes* Just let everyone marry, for goodness sake. It isn't even sacred. The only reason marriage ever was, was for alliances between two countries/families, etc to join together. It was a bargaining chip. |

Wednesday, May 16, 2012 6:26:07 PM Why don't you just not buy it? Use your economical vote. When you buy it, you support it. They don't give a flying poo what you do with it after you buy it. That being said,no one will change their feeling on this issue of gay marriage. I personally, am not religious and do not agree with most of it, and I agree with gay marriage. But I dont make a fuss over religion until it starts infringing on peoples rights. enough said. |

In order to dump it, they have to first purchase it. Pastor is increasing their sales! Christian logic escapes me. |
