I never understood the idea of gamers who can complete games in 7 hours, being represented as no-lifers, compared to the gamers completing them in 20... That quite literally doesn't add up. |

You've clearly never played Diablo. That game is not over, it is maybe something like 10% over. They still have nightmare, hell, and inferno difficulties to beat. also, they have much gear to discover, and however many secrets blizzard rammed into this one. |

@faaaaq monsters have increased health in multiplayer. somewhere around 4x the health they would have in single player. |

Well yeah, if you run past everything and try to beat bosses as fast as you can, of course you could down it that fast. But a true gamer checks every last corner of the map and leaves no stone unturned. |

@faaaaq: Yes the monsters are harder with larger numbers of players. At least in D2 they were!
Since there were LOTS of sites to buy D2 gear with real money, I'm willing to bet Blizzard gets a % of cash sales. That's what I would do!! It would effectively slow down the pay-sites and still make $$ for Blizzard.
Gold is free in D2 (lolz!) It's SO EASY to get it's silly. Nothing will be sold for game-gold that's worth anything. |

im not sure what the significance of this is o.O none of the other Diablo games have very long campeigns either, but there are side-quests and extended difficulty levels. Also, iirc, monsters are NOT HARDER WHEN PLAYING IN A GROUP, as these Asians played. so that will make the game longer for people playing single player (as i will be) |

Perhaps you should read more before assuming. you dont HAVE to use actual cash. There is a In Game Gold Auction house, and a Real Money auction house. Both are stocked by nothing more than players. None of the items are GM side to make the company money. |

Thats not an explanation. The real explanation is that 4 dedicated PROFESSIONAL gamers, who get paid thousands for being world firsts at what they do beat the game.
Remember, they had all beaten it multiple times in the beta life of the game and had a full speed guide ready. |
