He said he believes in the law of God, but hadn't read Leviticus, which does state the death penalty.
Not the brightest lad, just vaguely aware of this thing he absolutely believes in.

Update, May 16, 10:30 a.m.: Pacquiao's original interviewer, Granville Ampong, is now saying that he himself quoted Leviticus 20:13 in his article -- so the words "put to death" never came out of Pacquiao's mouth. |

I don't see why people think it's alright to hate gays, but then say it's not okay to hate specific races of people, specific religions, etc.
To clarify: I don't dislike your religion which may or may not say I'm an abomination, I dislike you for hating me without knowing me. |

Indeed. It came out earlier that the interviewer completely fabricated his biblical response. Regardless, he's allowed to disagree with homosexuality, even when using religion as his reasoning, especially when being non-violent about it. |

I don't get it. Conservatives want smaller government and less regulation, except when it comes to homos. Then government and regulation is good.
So if you are destroying the environment, distributing tools of death, selling poisonous food and products, or rigging the economy the government has no business in your affairs. But if you want to stand next to a person with similar junk and put rings on your fingers CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT!!!!!!

Semantics guys.
He was asked about gay marriage and he said "God's words first ... obey God's law first before considering the laws of man". Anybody who says that in response to that question is pointing at leviticus.
If you say the bible is right in how to view homosexuality and the bible says they should be killed, you are basically saying you think they should be killed. |
