Monday, May 14, 2012 6:00:27 AM @IbBored It's a hot topic and it spurs debate. Debating on the internet stops a lot of us from being bored. |

Sunday, May 13, 2012 11:25:29 PM Why is every other post about gay marriage? I'm not homophobic or anything but I come to this site to not be bored and informing me about gay marriage is not exactly interesting. |

Sunday, May 13, 2012 4:55:33 PM A marriage license is proof of a couple's new legal obligations to each other , as well as who receives Social Security, insurance, medical and survivor benefits. |

Sunday, May 13, 2012 1:48:45 PM Neither are driver's licenses. Neither are gun PERMITS.
divers licence proves that the owner is competent enough to drive, navigate and park safely (well, at the time of testing anyway) guns...idk, do they test for basic competency in america? |

Sunday, May 13, 2012 1:35:31 PM I know of a few roads that no one drives on, and I thought it'd be cool to get crocked and drive them The police would patrol a busy area, where reckless drivers posed more of a threat. I'm glad you recognize that people driving 120 mph on the highway isn't a threat to me or others If you're comfortable driving that fast and able to avoid running into people and other obstacles, more power to you. Realistically, people generally don't behave that way because they can. What's worse is that posted speed limits are actually a distraction meaning they're more dangerous than someone who happens to be driving 20 over the average speed of traffic. |

Sunday, May 13, 2012 12:37:14 PM Honestly? I think a bigger issue than gay marriage is stupid people who have children. With all the other things we need government permission to do you thing having a license to have kids would be on the list... |

Sunday, May 13, 2012 11:09:22 AM @Cajun: Well, that sucks, cuz I know of a few roads that no one drives on, and I thought it'd be cool to get crocked and drive them. Damn. I had high hopes for you. On the other hand, I'm glad you recognize that people driving 120 mph on the highway isn't a threat to me or others. I mean, whoever thought speed limits were a good idea MUST'VE been some liberal nanny-stater hell-bent on taking away our freedoms and liberties! |

Sunday, May 13, 2012 10:48:43 AM do you promise to get rid of speed limits Federal level yes, but I'd put pressure on the states to get rid of them. drunk-driving laws A drunk driver is a threat to everyone else on the road. The analogy doesn't fit. |

Sunday, May 13, 2012 10:40:29 AM Marriages are a form of registration. They aren't to protect you. Neither are driver's licenses. Neither are gun PERMITS. |

Sunday, May 13, 2012 9:48:03 AM "It's not the govt's job to protect people from their own bad decisions" If you become president, do you promise to get rid of speed limits and drunk-driving laws? |

Sunday, May 13, 2012 9:13:29 AM I was watching one of those home reno' shows a while back, and the narration was along the lines of "Steve started to rebuild the kitchen but has had trouble with several issues. Steve's husband, Dan, wants the room back after six months..." It was so smooth and nothing-special, and I thought "I really like my country sometimes." |

Sunday, May 13, 2012 8:30:46 AM Marriage Liscences are from the tradition of making sure you're not: - Marrying someone who's already married (and abandoned his/her former spouse) - Marrying a close relative by accident This cartoon is just... silly. (that's a polite term, right?) |
