Um, the Holocaust was committed by atheists. Likewise the 100,000,000+ people murdered by Communism in the 20th and 21st centuries were killed by atheists. I'm not making any blanket statements here, just correcting ZigRat's erroneous comment. Religious mass murder has a long, sorded history, but in the modern era, atheism has been the key driving force for the most horrendous atrocities. |

WHO HAS MORE OF A RIGHT TO HEAVEN? TheReligious Believer who does not kill because they believe they will go to hell if they did, or the Athiest who does not kill because it is an abhorent act? A Believer who does not steal because they believe they will go to hell if they did or the Athiest who does not because it is an abhorent act? Being Coerced to act morally through threats of their Religion does NOT make them Moral or Just
Performing Moral and Just acts because it is what the individual believes is truely the right thing for the sake of doing the right thig Does Justify Morality. How many Religious people commit atrocities because their Religion states that it morally correct. If you want examples of this think 911, Crusades , Holocost, etc. No Major Religion is exempt from commiting Atrocities. If you want further proof, Just read their religious texts. |
