It's time to redefine what conservative and liberal mean in this country (he's talking about the USA). They are not synonymous with Republican and Democrat. They are philosophies about how people should live together in a society. Conservatives believe people should look out for themselves, liberals believe it is better for people to work together for the good of all.
I would love to see politicians talk more about their beliefs and philosophies, I think it would stimulate people to think about their own beliefs and what the political consequences of those beliefs are. |

I agree 100% Chris Rock. I am an independent and it makes me mad that the American political system makes it seem like being independent is a terrible choice. |

I agree with his message. I don't care about the grammar of his message.
If being an independent thinker could be made illegal, the US would find a way to do it.

I love the irony of him saying he is conservative on "crime" but liberal on "prostitution". I am sure it was 100% intentional, and one of the reasons Chris Rock is a genius. |
