Thursday, May 10, 2012 8:23:44 PM He's just trying to make a strategic political move I suppose. Obama and his wife are avid supporters of gay rights and are even members of the LGBT organization. I suppose he's not going to fully support it because he's thirsty for as many votes this upcoming election and he know that a majority of the voters in this country are still not supporters of gay marriage. I suppose if it where completely up to him gays would have been geeting legally married nationwide since 08. The same goes for abortion and late term abortion. |

Wednesday, May 09, 2012 4:34:33 PM @illios: Exactly! Obama will now openly attack Romney's religion, using 'gay rights' as an excuse. The MSM will somehow forget what Obama's own Pastor, Rev Jeremiah Wright spewed hatred, bigotry, anti-semitism and homophobia for 20 years while Barak and Michelle sat in the pews... |

Wednesday, May 09, 2012 3:48:01 PM "There's plenty of talk by Gay Rights organizations about making sure "Roman Catholic Gays can get married in their church" & etc." Those people are so miniscule in number that I've literally NEVER met a person who openly believe churches should be forced to marry gay people, despite being active in support of gay rights. So it's truly not a valid argument, nor is it worth even mentioning. There are people who will say stupid things in any group. |

Wednesday, May 09, 2012 1:29:27 PM @LillianDulci: Like all movements, there are some hard-core members who want outrageous things. There's plenty of talk by Gay Rights organizations about making sure "Roman Catholic Gays can get married in their church" & etc. Not everyone thank goodness! The VAST majority of gay-marriage supporters do NOT believe this, me included. No I will not waste 20 minutes searching for a link, I'm ill today... |

Wednesday, May 09, 2012 1:18:37 PM "NO chuch should be forced to marry ANYone, ever." No one is arguing for churches to marry any couples. That's not what gay marriage is about at all. Gay marriage is for the LEGAL right to get married. It says nothing about religions being forced to marry gay people. |

Wednesday, May 09, 2012 1:17:25 PM "I support Gay Marriage, but Obama just drated himself." How so? Over 50% of Americans support gay marriage. Obama's opinion reflects the opinions of the majority. Most of the people who don't support gay marriage would not have voted for him in the first place. |

Wednesday, May 09, 2012 12:27:51 PM ...government (only 925! cut off!) including polygamists, incest, um, creeps and whatnot. NO chuch should be forced to marry ANYone, ever. Obama has been shamed into actually talking about gay marriage! HOWEVER if you listen to his statement? He kicks the can down the road: re-elect me and I MIGHT legalize gay marriage. Riiiiight, just like Guantanimo Bay (not closed yet!) or 100 other "promises" he made... Another round of kool-aids for the libtards! |

Wednesday, May 09, 2012 12:24:39 PM "the evolution comment was pretty childish." @Mogulman: So, Obama is childish? You know why it's in 'quote things' it's because that's what Obama calls it! ffs man, learn THEN comment!! Here's His Evolutionary Statement "So, the decision to kill Osama was 'Difficult', but this one he has to consider?" Yeah @MeGrendel: close to 4 YEARS he's been pondering this! LMAO! "He probably does endorse it but America is so backwards he knows that if he comes out..." Yes @Buiadh: Because have a rock-solid majority in BOTH houses for 2 years wasn't enough to pass a gay marriage bill. He needed, um, TO EVOLVE! " And what's 5Cats's position on gay marriage? " @FoolsPrussia: Everyone should register with the go |

Wednesday, May 09, 2012 11:15:48 AM well put Gerry, as a side note... my wife's grandma was telling us that to circumvent some of the dumb aspects of the ban on gay marriage some guy here in BC adopted his gay partner in order to make him part of his family and immediate heir to everything he owned (he was quite rich apparently) back when they weren't allowed to marry. No one batted an eye because it was a big middle finger to the government haha. |

Wednesday, May 09, 2012 10:52:57 AM Obama has done so much for the gay community. He'll change his public stance as soon as he wins the election in November. I can wait. Troll post - moving on. |

Wednesday, May 09, 2012 10:42:47 AM Meh, Obama has never really been a liberal, but rather a centrist. And if he endorsed gay marriage now, Fox News would spend the next six months pointing out how he flip flopped. |

I have a marriage, even if it's not recognized by some polticians or some religious nuts. I don't have a "gay" marriage, just a marriage. I didn't gay park my car. I don't gay wash my dishes. I just have someone and we're committed to each other and building a life together. We've fought over money, disagreed on which sofa to buy, both of us blalmed the dog for a fart, and we say "it's your turn..." for a lot of chores. How gay is that! |

Wednesday, May 09, 2012 9:27:53 AM Gerry is right, this is a trap, if a conservative could tell me what answer would please them I'd love to hear it. Also, from the link: Let’s face it: Obama has zero principles and will do and say anything to retain power. Switch 'Obama' to 'Romney' and 'retain' to 'gain'. Romney's the biggest self-serving waffler there is. |
