First time I hear the name Nickelback. To Google.
First song I find of them "When We Stand Together" has very few negatives... doesn't sound half that bad (yet not very good eighter, we could say my musical taste is to blame here) and has a pretty decent video to go along with it.
What's bad about them? |

I think it's funny that people get upset about people making fun of Nickelback. It started as a meme somewhere often involving Nicholas Cage. Most people spreading this crap don't hate Nickelback, they just like trolling and following memes like the trendy little anti-social turds that they are. No reason to get worked up over it either way because who cares what people think. |

Notice that, so far, all the people saying they like Nickelback are female. In fact everyone I know that likes them is female. Not that I'm trying to insult anyone, it just seems like maybe the band is on to something.
I didn't like Nirvana either. but I'm from the Seattle area and lived through the grunge era, so I can't even say that I'm objective about it. I couldn't get away from them. I still have nightmares. |

Seriously, I dont get where everyone is getting the idea that I am a fan of Nickelback. I can dislike Nirvana without liking Nickelback. The two are mutually exclusive.
There are one or two songs of each that I dont hate, but I dont see that as enough for me to really be a fan of either. |

First off, nowhere have I said I am a nickelback fan. Lets get that out of the way right away.
Cityncolour, a polite F*ck you, to you sir. I dont like nirvana. As well do a lot of people I know. Their music was okay when it came out, and has not really held up. If Cobain hadnt shot himself they would all be hasbeens as I type.
Gottamgear/Mcgovern/smutleybutt, My entire mod thing is a big stupid joke that I wrote when I was really tired. I was asked to hand one in and just started typing. I have turned in a new and more correct one since, but it never gets put in the updates...so f*ck it. Anyway, although it was said in jest, I do not hate Beiber or his music [at least any more than any pop act]. I think the poor kid gets way too much hate for no real reason. If hes cool by Usher, hes cool by me. |
