Tuesday, May 08, 2012 2:56:32 PM @8BitHero: read the link, eh? 80+ year old owner couldn't care for kitty anymore. Also fed kitty way too much, apparently. Note: Guinness Records refuses to accept new "fat animal" claims, and good for them! |

Tuesday, May 08, 2012 11:56:40 AM A cat that eats every day doesn't die of fatty liver disease. It's only after a cat stops eating that they get that particular disease. |

Tuesday, May 08, 2012 10:56:22 AM Poor fat kitteh! I'm glad lots of people learned a thing or two about: homeless pets (who need adoption) fat kitties (don't let them get fat!) Hopefully lots of good kitties get forever homes because of Meow's celeberty! |

Tuesday, May 08, 2012 10:37:19 AM Too bad it wasn't a dog. Fun fact: You can essentially starve a fat dog to get it skinny. Just give it water and exercise and it will catabolize the stored fats rather quickly. Their immune system gets repressed during this, so you have to be careful, but my ex who was a vet had a dog that was so fat it was strangulating the vagus nerve, and after a couple of weeks of no food it got to a more healthy weight. |

Tuesday, May 08, 2012 10:32:02 AM It probably also has something to do with transporting the cat from TV set to TV set. Extensive traveling does animals no good. |
