"but I'm trying to NOT be! I really would like to figure out the hows and whys of this, and move on to more solid reasons to dislike Obama..."

You are not trying to figure it out. You have been told over and over and over that the layers are due to character recognition software used in the scan of all the birth certificates so the text can be searchable. It is an extremely common practice when governments scan documents. Take off your f**king blinders. Even Fox News understands this.

the moved around spacing on official seal(s)? Just isn't likely.

No I've seen those "artifacts" before at the library, typical dating stamps. Even some people fork over some money so they can embold their autograph on a rubber stamp.

And the date stamps at the bottom? Made with the exact same stamper but looking VERY different? If you can account for that, I'd be impressed!

Same thing, humans just aren't perfect and the stamps they make wear out. Also the ones digit in the year is actually consistent so are the date and month.

Hummm, I may sound sarcastic here, but I'm trying to NOT be! I really would like to figure out the hows and whys of this, and move on to more solid reasons to dislike Obama...

What the state director of Health's word is invalid?

iirc: that was the Certificatre Of Live Birth which is an entirely different matter.

And the date stamps at the bottom? Made with the exact same stamper but looking VERY different? If you can account for that, I'd be impressed!

I'd be even more impressed if you could link a site which duplicates these artifacts without photoshop. I've heard 'experts agree' over and over, but not ONE botheres to support Obama by demonstrating how it happened?

Also: the moved around spacing on official seal(s)? Just isn't likely.

It's one thing piled on top of another: not one isolated detail.
And the sudden, almost miraculous appearence of the "paper copy" which no one has ever seen... unless you can link that.

On top of the "artifacts" generated by digitilization, typewriters thoroughly used would leave uneven impressions in the medium, which would explain the different shades of ink the print text. Putting your John Hancock down is more of an art than it is a science meaning that pressure is not always uniform throughout the stroke. Then people sometimes make errors while filling out check marks.

this all should have been done by the DNC in 2008.

Which the short form BC already did, twice validated by Hawaii.

Artifacts will always appear.

For whatever reason, (the conspiracy goes) it is anounced that BHO was born in a local hospital.

Wow I feel dumber just reading that.

something the Governer of Hawaii failed to even confirm existed

@Cajun: Mom and Dad Obama phone or telegram Grandma about BHO's birth. Perfectly normal! However, this assumes he was indeed born in Kenya, not Hawaii.
Grandma, happily announces the birth in the local paper. Again, perfectly normal.
For whatever reason, (the conspiracy goes) it is anounced that BHO was born in a local hospital.

NOW: The LFBC as presented is:
scanned using old methods and converted, causing artifacts.
BUT: HotAir (your link) reports that BHO's lawyer got a paper origional of the LFCB, something the Governer of Hawaii failed to even confirm existed!
Paper origional: scan once, no artifacts!

Weird things within the document which are completely unrelated to scanning methods? Ignored and unexplained.

Fact Remains: this all should have been done by the DNC in 2008. Thinking THAT makes me a "birther"? Believeing that laws apply equally to everyone? Huh...

Seriously how is saying mommy and daddy "don't have motive" saying conspiracy theory? It's called skepticism. OldOllie is so biased he'll call anyone who disagree as a full of 5h17 liberal. He's far too biased for any conversation.

If you Obama apologists were in a high school debate class, not only would you have gotten an F on this assignment, they would have kicked you out of class, had you expelled from school, and called the cops to escort you off campus.

You've already been escorted off-campus, then fined for disturbing the peace.

"conspiracy theory now!"

...and then you follow up with:

Perhaps Grandma was savvy with the immigration process? Perhaps she thought that being born in Kenya might jepordize his US citizenship? idk, I wasn't there, and Grandma died without talking about it.

So tell me who's got the real tinfoil hat?

Neither explains the physical discrepencies within the document.

Except that we already pointed out that duplication always causes artifacts to appear meaning OldOllie's image is non-sequitor.

Wow! A bunch of liberals agree with 2 other liberals, and not one of them offers a even the tiniest shred of evidence to support their position

HotAir? Liberal? I'm shocked.

I'm moving on to another thread. The reek of fail here is too putrid to endure.

I'm not going to waste my time anymore OldOllie. Not sure why I did in the first place. You are a sad ridiculous troll.

Try that as a defense in court, and you'll end up in prison.

Mom and Dad in Africa still don't have the incentive to call or write Grandma and say their son was born where Grandma lives.

@Cajun: I never said they did, you're the one getting all "conspiracy theory now!"
Perhaps Grandma was savvy with the immigration process? Perhaps she thought that being born in Kenya might jepordize his US citizenship? idk, I wasn't there, and Grandma died without talking about it.

HotAir says that Obama got a paper copy of his LFBC, so which is it? The hospital has scanned it or the White House did? I thought the 'explaination' for the artifacts was old scanning and re-formatting by the hospital?

Neither explains the physical discrepencies within the document.

His father was born in Africa. Hence the "Race of father" is listed as African.

My father was born in America, but they didn't list his race as "American."

Without regard to where Obama was born, that document he claims to be his original long-form birth certificate was unquestionably created on a computer using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I've provided indisputable proof, and no one here has produced even a single shred of evidence to refute that fact. All I've gotten from your side is insults, name-calling, and mindless denials of the same mentality as:

"The sun is hot."
"No, it isn't."

"Water is wet."
"No, it isn't."

"Grass is green."
"No, it isn't."

"Poop stinks."
"No, it doesn't."

Post some real, tangible evidence or STFU!

@markust123 WOW, Barbara and David Mikkelson put up a page on their own site attesting to their own veracity. The fact is, there is NOTHING on that page, including the quote you copied and pasted here, that even disputes, let alone disproves, their left-wing political bias.

She can't vote. Does than mean she can't think, either? Does she have no opinions? And he's a registered independent. Well, so's Bill O'Reilly. Does that prove he isn't conservative?

All you've done is prove to the world that you're a gullible fool.
