Friday, May 04, 2012 6:33:59 AM Well I guess you advertised it to the whole world and someone you do not want to know, now knows the trick, so now all they have to do is ban the carry on of water....doh |

Thursday, May 03, 2012 7:35:45 PM so.. then what? you sip on raw vodka all day? I'm guessing this is aimed at the under 21's. every cruise I've ever heard of is a floating booze fest anyway. |

Thursday, May 03, 2012 7:02:57 PM A lot of places actually do make sure that bottles are sealed. I've been to quite a few baseball games and had to throw away water that I had just opened. |

Thursday, May 03, 2012 6:14:42 PM um why not just have an empty water bottle that you fill up with vodka and then recap it. i used to do that at school all the time. what's the point of resealing it completely? are the water bottle patrol going to be checking to make sure they aren't open?? |

Thursday, May 03, 2012 3:54:14 PM You can bring almost an entire bottle of booze on a cruise ship by carefully removing the cello-seal on a bottle of mouth wash, empty, rinse well and fill with vodka/white rum and add food coloring and reseal it with a lighter or a blowdryer |

Thursday, May 03, 2012 3:46:00 PM What we did when we went on a cruise was clean out an empty shampoo bottle really well and fill it with booze, that way you can sneak in stuff that isn't clear. |

Thursday, May 03, 2012 3:13:43 PM not sure why you need the extra bottle just do the same thing with the sealed one. and how does this help getting into those events? Your either allowed to bring in outside food/beverage like water or your not allowed. |

Thursday, May 03, 2012 1:36:59 PM I don't know. Why would they ask for your permission to open it? Wouldn't you just simply say, "Nah." So I think you definitely got the wrong riddle. I call em like I see em. |

Thursday, May 03, 2012 1:16:56 PM If they ask "you" to open the bottle and smell it. Open the bottle and smell it. You going to turn yourself in? "Yup, this is definitely not water... I can smell that." I'm going to try and keep this very simple. They ask you to open the bottle so THEY can smell it. I know this might be hard to fathom at first, and I know Cory could have worded it better for the simple-minded but it wasn't too hard to riddle out. |

Thursday, May 03, 2012 12:33:38 PM My version: 1) Open a bottle of water 2) Remove contents 3) Fill with vodka 4) Replace cap Who the hell checks the seals? |

Thursday, May 03, 2012 11:34:49 AM @LemonTarte No, they don't want you to bring your own, they want you to buy their overpriced drinks. @rachaldenise I'm pretty sure they check your bags, just like at the airport. |

Thursday, May 03, 2012 11:28:30 AM OK I've never been on a cruise before so this might sound like a dumb question to those who have but do they go through your bags or something? How would they know if you just packed the bottles with your clothes? |

Thursday, May 03, 2012 10:52:02 AM @leesah Don't mean to be rude but... Wtf are you talking about? How would that look the same as the original seal on the actual cap of the bottle? |

Thursday, May 03, 2012 10:39:15 AM @Corydora - They don't ask, at least they never have with me. They don't go to that much trouble, they're still going to make a ton of money from the thousands of people who will fork out $8 a piece for the drinks. I'm going on a couple more cruises this year, I think I'll be taking some "water" with me. |

Thursday, May 03, 2012 10:22:35 AM *step one admitting you have a problem* Step two. Drink anyways because that's the only way to guarantee that remains your only problem haha |

Thursday, May 03, 2012 9:32:36 AM Or you could just buy some plastic shrink wrap rings and re-seal the bottle for about .10 cents and a hair dryer. |
