Are we sure that this isn't intended for the handicap? I understand that the segway isn't intended for the handicap, but I am referring to the motorized chair.

Besides, if you've ever spent time in a wheelchair, you will be very eager to start walking again.

Don't let technology make you become lazy. With anything. Work your ass off or die being a fat poo while the healthy folk laugh at how easy it would've been just to walk and eat something that wasn't a twinkie. Bad things are good every once in a while gluttons

@bigfatdyanmo

People are generally overweight for one of two reasons. Either they have a medical condition or their calories burned is far less than their calories consumed. My wife being a nurse has told me many times it is almost always the second one. As she puts is "Love a nurse, loose some weight" as she has to lift these people at times. If your over 400lbs and eating around the recommend daily value of calories, than your not nearly as active as that 180lb douche bag.

@bigfatdynamo. thank you. i thought i was the only fatty on there. i too get pretty tired of all the fat american posts. i don't feel the need to apologize for my weight and think its pretty rotten that i (we) can still be publicly jeered for something as meaningless as my (our) appearance.

I'm more interested in what appears to be a motorized pogo stick the guy is riding in the background.

As an obese person myself I am getting tired of all these fat American jokes. I do not use a scooter and I am over 400lbs. I am as active as the 180lb douche bag who thinks he is better than me because he is thin and I am not. Not to mention, I probably eat fewer calories in a day than he does, too (around 1700 to be exact). We're not all fat because we're lazy.

That's an old concept model. I don't think they ever did anything with it.

I hate to be the one, but this was "news" in 2007. Are they mass producing them now or something?
