"I don't believe I've ever heard any left-winger say that abortion rights are in the constitution."

patchgrabber - have you ever known a left-wing American who would dispute Roe vs. Wade? It is clear judicial activism, yet they don't complain about that. They complain when judges interpret the First Amendment the only way it could possibly be interpreted, and call that judicial activism while lying about it making corporations into people.

You are clearly not on the same planet as I am.

It is the socialists everywhere that get rich in office, and enrich their friends. Naturally so, as statist/corporatist/socialist policies distort markets, and allow the politicians to favour one side. True free-market policies insist on a level playing field, with no opportunity for unfair gains.

It's funny how CrackrJak's answer is so dumb that you can't think of any reasoned argument against it, so you bleat like a small child.

If you want republicans to pay taxes so you can collect your welfare, but proudly support a president who's wife spent $50,000 on lingerie and $470,000 on a vacation out of taxpayers dollars.

Join the Liberal party.

My favorite has to be the comparison between abortion and the death penalty. So, the right believes that violently ripping apart innocent babies while they scream in the womb is horrible murder but painlessly and humanely putting violent murders in a peaceful, permanent sleep is okay, since they, you know, violently murdered, raped and/or tortured someone and therefore voluntarily forfeited the right to their own life. And THAT is what is known as hypocracy.

But the left's view, which is the exact opposite of the above, is perfectly fine and normal and not at all insane or sociopathic...

It's funny how for right-wing parties all over the free world politics is about getting into office to improve things

I think you mean getting in office by any means to make themselves and their friends richer. Yeah I know dems like making their friends rich too so don't bother saying it, because it doesn't change the fact that reps are all about the benjamins, and not for everyone. Your bias is showing.

Since the US Constitution does not guarantee abortion rights

I don't believe I've ever heard any left-winger say that abortion rights are in the constitution. For a party that says "less government" the right wing sure does love to meddle in people's private affairs, hmm?

The funniest thing is criticising the Republicans for selective reading of the Constitution.

Since the US Constitution does not guarantee abortion rights, nor allow the Federal Government to force people to buy a product, nor even force complete separation of the church and state and it does prevent Congress from passing laws abridging freedom of speech and the press at all (not distinguishing between individuals and corporations) almost all Democrats have a distinctly selective interpretation of the Constitution. On the other hand many, if not most, Republicans support the whole Constitution.

The Democrats have heard of the crab principle, and use it to the fullest.

They of course are the ones sitting in flashy restaurants which take delivery of live crabs. They know that the live crabs do not need caging, because if any crab tries to leave the others pull it back in. They know that this principle can be applied to people - you criticise enterprise, you condemn those with real learning, you condemn those that think differently, are colour-blind in this case. The ones left behind will then try everything to pull the enterprising ones, the ones who try to do well in school, the ones who don't see themselves as victims, back into the maelstrom that is the slum city, where blacks and Hispanics know their place, a place that only votes for socialists, only for the official Democrat.

You truly are an idiot. Did you ask all these racists if they changed party, or are you just listening to the pathetic bleating of the racist socialists now running the Democrat Party? Perhaps while you were asking them why these supposed conservatives were not voting for the conservative party, the Republicans.

How about Senator Byrd, did you ask him?

It's funny how for right-wing parties all over the free world politics is about getting into office to improve things, so they try to understand and win by the issues. They might be wrong sometimes, but they believe in these things.

On the other hand socialist parties like the Democrat Party and its supporters are into the politics as a game. They play politics for the sake of it, as a popularity contest, like student politicians or club committees tend to do - as if the issues don't really matter, just the election and its result. They are competitive politicians, which is why they produce garbage like this. They don't want to understand things, they don't understand their opponents. They just wish to demonize to win, regardless of truth. That is the real hypocrisy here.

Markust & Nottaspy: What you two don't realize is that the democrats still keep minorities 'down on the farm' with their welfare and housing policies.

Democrats do not truly want minorities to enrich themselves, if minorities climbed out of the generational poverty stranglehold the democrats have kept them in, they would lose their votes.

Democrats also shamefully attack any minority person, like Allen West, Herman Cain and Clarence Thomas, that has the gall to succeed, become a Republican and seek any political office. That is the same sort of racism the KKK engaged in right after the civil war.

The party of Lincoln is open to all races, always has been, always will be.

How about you polititrolling jackwankers get off of your biased asses and go, just for f*cking ONCE, and find me something GOOD your side has done in the last few years. Back it up with some references, sources, real data, etc. (No, "
Bill O'Riley or John Maher said so" is not evidence, f*ckknob) Show me why I should believe YOU instead of firing around and telling me how much everyone else sucks! Until you do, you are a polititroll, a waste of amoebic pseudo-human DNA and are holding my species back.

Oh, and you're not entertaining me.

Thanks CrakrJak, I got a laugh from your image. I found humor in the fact that it points to "Democrats" as the sourthern racists, when they were ->CONSERVATIVE<- Democrats that later switched to the Republican party. Your image was about Conservatism vs Progressive and not Democrat vs Republican, right?

...and if you're an arrogant, condescending, liberal prick, you don't need to join the party, because you're already a Democrat.

I do wish the mainstream GOP would just dump the theocrats

I second that @Cajun!
And actually would remain "Independant" if I were an American, as @mon360 suggests, it's the best way to go!
