I feel like she may have had mental problems. I know I've dealt with people on public transit who raised their voices for no reason, and said completely incoherent things, but didn't seem they were under the influence of anything.
It's a prickly situation for sure! You can't talk to these types of people, and they could snap at any second. |

I'm wondering if all train systems have an emergency button they can press if something like this is happening. The subway I use has a yellow bar running along the walls, above the windows (so kids don't press it). It says on it "Press in case of illness, assault, or fire". |
