We had a couple of Jersey milck cows on the farm when I was growing up. There was a large pan/dish in the barn, and it was filled with milk for the farm cats twice a day at milking time.

Those kitties are gonna get diarrhea.
Young cats, like any young mammals, are set up to digest milk and make the most of it. It's only as we begin to get older our bodies begin to have trouble dealing with heavy dairy consumption. |
