People cared about him because they recognized the struggles he was born into this world to have to overcome everyday. He wasn't a super-star nor a carnival freak but captured the hearts of the people of the Dominican Republic for a short time. You guys can sit around with your lack of empathy for anything living and express your angst as some sort of apathy to get involved in the world but you know the next taller guy was like "Yes! I just moved up a spot!" |
